• Initial Setup, Before we begin the internet (WAN) setup on the ZLDL router, the following steps need to be completed.

  • Unpack the appliance.
  • Connect the power supply (power cord).
  • Press the power button to turn the device ON (router takes 3-4 minutes to power up).
  • Connect a computer to a LAN port on the device, P4.
  • Connect the DSL/Cable modem to the device, P2.

• Accessing the WebUI

  • http://192.168.1.1
    • user: admin
    • password: 1234
  • will be asked to reset the password, b2n2nnnnn
    • will have to relogin

• Select on premises mode

  • you have to go through very initail setup through the wizard, hookup your p2(using local net to simulate PPOE), p4 and
  • download firmware update(Latest V5.36(ABU1.2), do not power off or reboot, 5 minutes

When prompted for user credentials, type admin for the "User Name" and 1234 for the "Password". Click the Login button to enter the WebUI. zld-4.30-initial-setup.003.png Note: If the default password has been changed, use the new password to login. If this is the first time setting up the device and it is not accepting the "1234" password, please press the RESET button on the device (located in rear panel) and hold it down for 10-15 seconds.
