My Dear Daughtgers:

We started preparing for filing Mom's inheritance taxes. Enclosed please find documents related to this matter. Please review it.

The estate consists mostly in real-estate. Comparing with other millionaires, it seemed not that much, but these are what mom and I had worked hard for it. Land is a limited resources in Taiwan, the value should grow as the time goes. And I hope that before I passed away all theses properties will carry some rental incomes. With these rental incomes you guys should have some base to rely on even after I was away. And hopefully, some of you will base on these and make better out of it and　柯翠蓮＆頼宗佑の子々孫々 will cherish it and be proud to be a Lai's family.

When we finished the inheritance processing, mom and I would like what mom had left to be distributed between you three daughters. Since mostly is in real estates, I would like to transfer the titles to you then using one of our company (the holding company) will issue stocks to buy back from you guys. Put the estate into the hand of a company, it will be easier to control it(lands) instead of in individuals' name. Since individuals will die and company will not as long as it was managed well.

As long as I am around, I will watch this holding company for you. But one day when time calls, I have to join your mom in so called heaven. Every one has to go at that predetermined time. There is no exeception. So you guys has to think about how to handle this holding company when I was away. As I have to start to consider the layout of the above mentioned holding company's structure, let's think about it and let's talk.

You guys has been asking what I am doing these days. I appreciate it. After married for 51 years, of course it is hard for me to accept your mom will leave me alone in this world. Of couse, I am lonely. But started to preapre what will be after me should be very constructive things to do and will keep me going.
