For the Dragonfly 28, the foot length of the mainsail is typically around 10 to 11 feet (approximately 3 to 3.4 meters).

reef one starts from the cockpit(port side)

at the front of boom on port side, reef one line goes out here

the it goes up into the reef one ring, port sode

then it goes down through this ring

then through this,

then through this stopper

at the back of the boom, reef one(red) is coming out on the port side

then it goes all the way to the reef one ring at the end of main sail

then reef one line comes down and tie it to the starboard sid of the boom, in fron tof the clew!

lazyline starts here

then lazyjack line goes to the top, through thid ring then scomes down

then through this ring to go to the startboard side

the it goes up to the lazyjack ring and comes down

the lazyjack line is fastgened here

once the main sail is fully hoisted, loosen the lazyjack line

now, pulling the reef one line out by untying the knots first.

pull the reef one line out from the main sail. Pull it all out!

do not forget to figure-eight know at the end of of reef one sheet
-
pull the reef one out of the stopper all the way and tidy it up
-
take out the reef two line in the font of mast, startboard
-
just pull it all out
-
we are ready to release mainsail from boom

untie the knots at the end of boom
-
strap off
